JUST IN: House of Reps tells FG to halt the implementation of LGBTQ

Due to the alleged inclusion of a “lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender” clause in the Samoa Agreement, the House of Representatives called on the Federal Government to halt its implementation on Tuesday.

This is due to the fact that the legislative chamber instructed its Committee on National Planning to investigate the agreement within four weeks and provide a report in preparation for additional legislative action.

The Deputy Minority Leader, Aliyu Madaki, and 87 others brought a motion of urgent public importance to the green chamber on Tuesday, which led to the House resolution.

The Samoa Arrangement is the general legitimate structure for the European Association’s relations with 79 nations. This incorporates 48 African, 16 Caribbean, and 15 Pacific nations.

Last week, a public every day (not The PUNCH), in its lead story, claimed that the understanding contained a statement to sanction same-sex connections in Nigeria.

Responding, the Central Government denied the case, expressing that Nigeria has “existing regulation against same-sex connections.” Additionally, it threatened to sue the media house.

Subtleties later…
